We’re trying to make HH online netplay as bulletproof as possible now, we could use your help with testing!

General:

  • Fixed a menu bug with resetting positions in training mode
  • Bug fix: Assist hitbox and hurtbox id 2 did not reset to normal after rematch

Universal:

  • Hitstun, Blockstun and hitstop increased universally
  • Pushback from light attacks decreased
  • Airdash can be cancelled slightly sooner
  • New chains into 3C, mostly from B buttons like 2B
  • Ground attack friction decreased (dash momentum carries more effectively)
  • +1frame Bonus hitstun on airborne opponents
  • IBFD extra blockstun reduced from 10 > 8
  • IB reduced blockstun increased from 5 > 7
  • FD pushback slightly increased
  • Parry catch recover faster than the opponent by 4 frames
  • Parry hitstop reduced to 15 > 11
  • Parry catch first bufferable frame is now earlier: frame 2
  • Assist calls forfeit throw protection (i.e. wakeup assist calls can always be thrown)
  • Assist hurtboxes are generally larger
  • Assist exit recovery increased from 30 > 40
  • Hitboxes will persist after their first hit
  • Burst kara cancel leniency increased
  • Assist call can cancel into burst
  • Projectiles play a “block” sound effect on any collision
  • After 450 frames of being left alone, happy birthday’d assists will force enter their exit state (as a fail safe)
  • Many hurtbox adjustments to match the sprite better

Mio:

  • New 6A > 6C chain
  • Sweep launch angle reverted to shorter launch distance
  • Taller crouching hurtbox

Kanata:

  • Forward dash low crushes now

Ollie:

  • Uncharged Knight has an air and ground version now
  • Hitstun increased off of uncharged projectiles
  • Queen changed from 41236 to 236 input
  • 6[C] hold drill slides further
  • Ground Assist call hurtbox matches sprite closer

Oga:

  • Kick special moves build a little meter on startup
  • Parry hurtbox matches blocking hurtbox

Subaru:

  • EX Star ball changed from 41236 to 236 input
  • Taller crouching hurtbox
  • Ground Assist call hurtbox matches sprite closer
  • jC close hitbox moved upwards

Suisei:

  • New move: 214B > 2B steerable ender added
  • Extra rekka followups on whiff
  • 214B > A > B
  • 214B > A > 2B
  • 214B > B > 2B
  • 214B > 2B
  • j.A and jB hurtboxes adjusted
  • j.A hitbox increased
  • 5B now hits mid instead of low

Suicopath:

  • Suicopath received many reverse chain options like 5B > 2A
  • After 450 frames of being left alone, suicopath will force enter a jump falling state
  • Blocking hurtboxes match sprite closer

Assist Fubuki:

  • 236D Super: Full Invul extended until recovery
  • 5D: Full invul changed into low profile
  • 2D: Jumps slightly higher and forwards

Assist Okakoro:

  • Removed invul startup on 2]D[ normal release followup
  • 2]D[ Just timing release is full invul all the way up
  • Hurtboxes on attacks adjusted to match sprites better
  • 5]D[ normal release has an incredibly small low crush
  • 236D bounce hitbox is now slightly wider and taller and lower
  • 236D bounces slightly lower
